Sevenoaks District Council Local Plan - Final Consultation

Sevenoaks District Council Planning Advisory Committee met on 22 November to discuss and agree the Draft Local Plan for recommendation to the SDC Cabinet. If approved by Cabinet on 6 December, there will be a Final Consultation, known as a ‘Regulation 19 Publication’, starting on 18 December 2018 and ending on 3 February 2019.

We understand that the Final Consultation will be dealt with by means of downloading a Consultation Form (one form per proposal site) or completing the Form online. There will be provision for those who do not have access to the internet. We shall provide more information and details as soon as they become available.
During the Final Consultation, Halstead Green Belt Future Group intends to run sessions once again for those requiring information or assistance in submitting their comments to the Consultation. These sessions will take place on 9 and 10 January 2019.
After the Consultation closes, SDC will submit residents’ comments and the draft Local Plan to the Planning Inspector for consideration.
The final decision to approve the Local Plan will be taken by the Planning Inspector at a public examination in 2019.
If approved by the Planning Inspector, the Plan could be adopted by SDC in late 2019 then used to help determine planning applications.
